White Oleander, book vs the movie?

i've read the book, and it was probably one of the best i've ever read, although i'm not normally a huge book person.

i hate it how movies ruin your own personal concept of the book and how you saw things, so i'm skeptical of seeing the movie. anyone seen and read it?

White Oleander, book vs the movie?
I saw the movie first, and it was very well acted. Michelle Pfieffer (sp?) was chillingly cold-blooded as the mother. The movie leaves out one of the daughter's foster placements, next to the prostitute. It also doesn't go into detail about the man or the method of his death.

The movie inspired me to read the book, and I'm not a big fiction reader, either. The book was so well written, and the author's repeating phrases were mesmerizing, drawing me in.

If you read the book and loved it, you'll enjoy the movie, because the actresses played in strength and weakness so well.

Reply:The movie is good but due to time they did change a little. But it is all was that way. Still it is worth the watch enjoy.
