My dog isn't eating. Could it be and oleander leaf?

He hasn't been eating and he looks very weak. Also, his eyes are very droopy. 'm taking him to the vet very soon. But, what are the side effects for a dog eating an oleander leaf?

Oleander - A common ornamental evergreen shrub in Los Angeles County can kill animals that eat it. The plant contains a poison that acts on the heart. Do not feed Oleander trimmings to animals. Do not allow horses and livestock access to Oleander plants.

Found this info on this website. Get your dog to VET ASAP!!

Reply:If you suspect poison at all (and oleander is poisonous), don't wait, get to a vet now, even if it is an emergency vet clinic or an after-hours visit. The longer you wait, the less likely your dog is to survive if it is poison.
Reply:Dog needs to be at the vet NOW.
